bottle tops

Yesterday morning, I was trying to get this mirin bottle open, when I realized there were two caps built into the one.

If you open the left size, you can squeeze out a small amount.

If you open the right size, you can pour out a larger amount.

Not the best way to find out while you are cooking (and need the ingredient right away), but I thought it was cool...

Have you seen bottle tops like this where you are?

If was me, I probably wouldn't have discovered the second cap until the mirin was almost all gone.

Hahaha, also to Jalna's comment, me too! I love sriracha sauce but before, forgot that there is that plastic seal that needs to be removed after the whole cap is unscrewed. I used to get a scissors and cut the tip of the nozzle off not realizing the tip twists open and shut to form a self sealing spout. The sauce would still not come out after cutting the tip off because of the plastic seal. DUMB!! Then, the cut tip is so huge that copious amounts of sriracha pours out. Which is probably why I go through so much sriracha.
